INCHARGE WORKPLACE
Human
development
at work.
Workplaces are made of people.
People navigating pressure, relationships, responsibility, change and the constant negotiation between who they are and what their roles require of them. Incharge Workplace brings the principles of The Incharge Way into organisations through talks, workshops, facilitated experiences and individual coaching.
Drawing upon psychology, coaching, research into authenticity and more than two decades of experience across business, education and human development, my work creates space for people to understand themselves more deeply — and from that understanding, make more conscious choices about how they work, relate and lead.

Beyond coping better.
THE INCHARGE WAY AT WORK
Much of workplace wellbeing focuses on helping people manage the demands already placed upon them. Those tools can be valuable. But sometimes a different question is needed.
What is actually creating the strain?
Is it workload? Uncertainty? Relationships? Expectations? A conflict between personal values and professional roles? The pressure to continually perform a version of ourselves that no longer feels sustainable?
My work explores the human experience underneath performance. Rather than approaching wellbeing simply as resilience, stress management or productivity, I invite people to become more aware of the patterns through which they work, respond, relate and make decisions. Because sustainable change does not begin by asking people to tolerate more. It often begins with understanding more.
The Incharge Way is the integrative framework underpinning my work. At its heart is a simple principle — we cannot always control what happens around us, but we can develop greater awareness of how we meet what happens.
Within organisations, this creates space to explore questions such as: What is within my influence — and what am I trying to control? What patterns shape the way I respond under pressure? Where am I acting from expectation rather than conscious choice? What happens when my values and my role begin to pull in different directions? How do I remain connected to myself whilst working within the needs of a wider system? What kind of environment am I creating for the people around me? The aim is not to prescribe one way of working or leading. It is to strengthen the capacity for reflection, discernment and more conscious action.

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER
Bring the conversation into your organisation.
Incharge Workplace can be brought into organisations in several ways, from a single talk or workshop through to deeper leadership and individual development.
WORKSHOPS & EXPERIENCES
TALKS & CONVERSATIONS
Ideas that open up a different conversation.
Talks offer an accessible introduction to my work and can be created for leadership events, team development days, women's networks, conferences, wellbeing programmes and organisational events.
Rather than delivering motivational formulas, I explore questions that encourage people to think differently about themselves, their work and the systems they participate in.
Sessions can stand alone or become the starting point for workshops, facilitated conversations or further development.
From listening to exploration.
Workshops create space to move beyond ideas and into reflection, discussion and practical application.
Participants are invited to explore their own patterns, perspectives and choices through guided inquiry, exercises and conversation.
Sessions can be delivered as one-off experiences or developed into a short series around a particular organisational theme.
Each workshop is adapted to the people and context in the room rather than delivered as a fixed formula.
BESPOKE WORK
LEADERSHIP & EXECUTIVE COACHING
When the question requires something more particular.
Some organisational challenges do not fit neatly into a workshop title.
Where appropriate, I can work with organisations to develop a programme around a particular theme, transition or developmental need.
This may combine talks, workshops, facilitated conversations and individual coaching over a period of time.
The starting point is always conversation:
What is happening within your organisation — and what would be useful to explore?
A private space for deeper reflection.
Individual coaching provides leaders and professionals with the opportunity to explore questions that may be difficult to address within the organisation itself.
The work may involve leadership, identity, transition, relationships, decision-making, pressure, professional direction or the tension between external expectations and internal knowing.
My approach combines psychological insight, coaching, reflective inquiry and embodied awareness.
Executive coaching may be commissioned independently or offered as a deeper continuation of organisational work.
Themes for talks, workshops and facilitated sessions.
The following are examples rather than a fixed catalogue. Content can be adapted according to the organisation, audience and context.
Authenticity at Work
What happens when who we are and who we believe we need to be at work begin to diverge?
An exploration of identity, adaptation, belonging, expectations and what it means to work with greater integrity without reducing authenticity to simply “being yourself.”
The Incharge Principle
We cannot control everything that happens around us.
But we can become much more discerning about where our influence actually lies. This session explores control, responsibility, uncertainty and the difference between conscious response and habitual reaction.
Self-Authorship & Choice
Many of the decisions we make are shaped long before we consciously make them.
Through roles, expectations, culture, achievement and ideas about who we should become. This session explores what it means to move from externally authored success towards more conscious and personally meaningful choice.
Working Under Pressure
Resilience is often presented as the ability to keep going.
But sustainable resilience requires something deeper. This conversation explores the patterns through which we respond to pressure, recognise our limits, regulate ourselves and distinguish healthy stretch from chronic overextension.
Authentic Leadership
Leadership is not only expressed through strategy and decision-making.
It is communicated through presence, relationships, behaviour and the environment we create around us. This session explores self-awareness, values, responsibility and the relationship between inner leadership and external influence.
Women, Identity & the Changing Relationship with Work
For many women, particularly through periods of transition and midlife, previously accepted definitions of success, responsibility and identity can begin to change.
Drawing upon my research into women’s experiences of authenticity, this conversation explores roles, expectations, identity, self-authorship and the changing relationship between the individual and the life she has built.
RESEARCH INFORMED — HUMAN CENTRED
Understanding the person beneath the role
My work sits at the intersection of psychology, coaching, research, contemplative practice and lived experience. My postgraduate research explores authenticity and the ways women negotiate identity, social expectations, relationships, wellbeing, personal agency and change across their lives. That research has strengthened a question that sits underneath much of my work:
Who — or what — is authoring the way we live?
Within organisations, the same question becomes deeply relevant. Workplaces are systems of expectations, relationships, hierarchies, identities and shared narratives. Understanding how people locate themselves within those systems can open important conversations about leadership, wellbeing, belonging, responsibility and change.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF FACILITATOR
Bringing together the organisational and the human.
Before moving fully into coaching, psychology and human development, my career took me through banking, management, project work, employment services, marketing and education.
I therefore understand organisational life not only from the perspective of wellbeing practice, but from having worked inside very different systems myself.
Today, I bring those worlds together.
My approach combines professional experience with academic research, psychology, coaching and more than a decade of study into the ways human beings understand themselves and navigate change.
I am particularly interested in the places where the organisational and the deeply human meet:
IDENTITY & ROLEPERFORMANCE & WELLBEING
EXTERNAL EXPECTATIONS & INTERNAL AUTHORITY
INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY & ORGANISATIONAL SYSTEMS
ACHIEVEMENT & MEANING
LEADERSHIP & SELF AWARENESS
WHO THIS WORK IS FOR

✔️ Leadership teams seeking greater self-awareness and reflective capacity.
✔️ Women's networks and women's leadership initiatives.
✔️ Teams navigating periods of change or transition.
✔️ Organisations developing wellbeing programmes that want to go beyond conventional stress-management interventions.

You do not need to know exactly what format you need before getting in touch.
Often the most useful starting point is simply understanding the conversation you want to create.
BEGIN WITH A CONVERSATION
What would be useful to explore in your organisation?
You may already know that you want a speaker, workshop or coaching programme. Or you may simply recognise that there is a conversation your organisation needs to have.
Either way, we can begin there.
Tell me a little about your organisation, the people involved and what you would like to explore.
